I grew up around farmers and chefs that stressed the importance of fresh produce for healthy and delicious food. Yet these things are often out of reach for various reasons.  Thus, I started the Backyard Garden Company to make natural ingredients more accessible. To offset people’s total reliance on the supermarket chains, I wanted to promote an alternative source that people can directly draw from.

My background is in community gardening and hydroponic systems.
